A kid selling magazines from Atlantic circ. inc. came to our door last January. Can't believe we fell for this scam but we bought $120 worth of mags.

The thing that hooked us was that a children's hospital was supposed to get a magazine also with our purchase. why can't anything be done to stop these thieves from ripping off well meaning people?

I have written Atlantic and now have sent an e-mail. Can the FTC go after them? I want my money back asap. Shouldn't have fallen for this old scam game but we did.

I am supposed to leave here in a couple of days to start, but i have read all kinds of bad stuff about people not selling legally, and going to jail, i was also told that someone didnt sell enough magz, and ended up getting beat up. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I don't see anything in your complaint stating how it is that you were scammed?
