I am embarrassed to admit that I got scammed by Atlantic Circuation, Inc. to the tune of $54. A cute, polite college girl came to my door selling magazines to help support a trip to Europe through some college program. I ordered Wired magazine and over a year later haven't received a thing. I gave her 10 in cash and 44 by check. Every time I tried to call the number on the receipt, it rang busy. Thanks for nothing Stacy Breisacher! Now the legitimate organizations suffer because I will never buy anything like this again.

You're right - I did love it.

More importantly, though, I rememeber losing sales because people would look on sites like these after googling the company and cancel because some idiot didn't read their receipt and thought the magazine was going to show up 3 days later. So yeah, when I've got some free time I troll these sites and do my best to give another point of view. I mean usually someone with a good experience tells one person, someone with a bad experience tells five, so I'm trying to counteract that.

Remember, before cancelling your order based on sites like this, take the time to go to the BBB site where the company is based out of. Every company gets complaints - you've got unsupervised young adults taking orders, there's bound to be some slip-ups. What matters is how the complaints they receive are resolved, if at all.

If you haven't heard back from them in a couple days, I'd try calling again. I really did get through to them the first time when I called, so maybe they have busy days, like most businesses do.

Um... It doesn't always ring right through. It rang busy for me all day yesterday, right up until 5:00 pm when everyone apparently went home. I left a message. Have not received a callback from them yet...

Boy, James, you sure are on here a lot defending your company... You must have really loved it there.

Um, I don't know what number you're calling, but the number on their website is (717) 755-3480 and it rings right through.
